Zakat Authority branch in Al Bayda Province launched the fourth mass wedding project for 382 brides and grooms at a cost of 152 million riyals, under the slogan ‘Together to fortify the youth and confront the soft war.’
At the inauguration, the Undersecretary of Al-Bayda Province for Administrative Units, Abdullah Al-Jamali, praised Zakat Authority’s initiative in organizing the fourth mass wedding, immunizing young people, and embodying the values of compassion and social solidarity, noting the role of the Authority’s office in the province in implementing humanitarian projects and distributing zakat to those who deserve it, especially in light of the difficult conditions that are going on the country has it.
While the Director of Al-Bayda City Directorate, Ahmed Al-Rasas, pointed out the importance of mass weddings in embodying the values of community solidarity, fortifying young people, and helping them complete half of their religion, especially in light of the conditions resulting from the aggression
and siege.
For their part, the grooms expressed gratitude to the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the Zakat Authority for paying attention to and caring for young people through implementing such projects.
