He pointed out the implementation of many important projects in all the Authority’s various sectors, with self-financing, to provide local and international services in the field of civil aviation.

Al-Durra criticized the negative role of the United Nations and international organizations working in Yemen with regard to the projects that they committed to implementing in the various transportation sectors, and their limitation to implementing projects for some Yem
eni airports and ports, which were not subjected to bombing and destruction.

He explained that most of the Civil Aviation Authority’s projects at Sana’a International Airport, meteorology, air navigation, and aviation safety and security were implemented with Yemeni efforts and expertise in the field of civil aviation, by taking advantage of information technology technology to secure ground services for air navigation.

While the Chairman of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, Dr. Muhammad Abdel Qader, indicated that the Authority is currently working on preparing plans and technical studies to develop and modernize services in the field of civil aviation and meteorology.
