The second popular festival for the Prophet’s Birthday, organized by the Directorate of Liberation in the Capital Secretariat with the support of the Charitable Society for Teaching the Holy Qur’an and its Sciences, which will continue until 10 Rabiul Awwal, witnessed a number of educational paragraphs and various competitions.
The festival aimed to highlight the celebration of the Messenger’s birth anniversary, consolidate and strengthen the affiliation with him, glorify , venerate him, and emphasize the need to follow his methodology, morals and attitudes.
In the presence of a large number of people of different age groups at the festival held in Tahrir Square, poet Sharif Jilan recited a poem that expressed the pride of the Yemenis and their keenness to distinguish the Prophet’s Birthday celebration from other Arab and Islamic countries.
Al-Badr troupe presented an operetta entitled “From Spring Country”, which emphasized the importance of the role of commemorating the Prophet’s birthda
y in strengthening the connection to the Prophet , adhering to his teachings and morals, as well as Yemeni pride in confronting the Islam’s enemies , America Israel, and confronting them.
Al-Badr Troupe also presented a play about the schemes of the the Islam’s enemies in terms of intellectual invasion, spreading the wrong culture in Arab , Islamic countries , targeting their youth, and the importance of confronting this with the Islamic culture that Allah Messenger brought to guide mankind to the right path.
