The US Central Command (CENTCOM) resumed the delivery of humanitarian aid in Gaza via temporary pier amid suspicion of the structure being used in the Israeli hostages rescue operation, which left hundreds of innocent Palestinians dead and injured.
In a press release on Saturday, CENTCOM said approximately 492 metric tons of much needed humanitarian assistance was delivered to Gaza, adding that to date they assisted in the delivery of more than 1,573 metric tons of humanitarian aid.
This ongoing effort in support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) to deliver additional aid to Palestinian civilians in Gaza was entirely humanitarian in nature and involves aid commodities donated by several countries and humanitarian organizations.
CENTCOM also stated that the humanitarian pier facility, including its equipment, personnel, and assets were not used in the operation to rescue hostages in Gaza.

onal, urgently needed lifesaving assistance into Gaza, CENTCOM added after some news outlets claimed that the US and Israeli occupation forces used the structure in rescuing four living hostages in Gaza.
US President Joe Biden ordered the establishment of a sea route to deliver food and other aid to Palestinians on March 7 amid Israeli restrictions.
