American media outlets, on Sunday, quoted an FBI statement identifying perpetrator of Trump rally shooting.

“The FBI has identified Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, as the subject involved in the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump on July 13, in Butler, Pennsylvania” Earlier, Pennsylvania’s law enforcement announced three civilians were killed, one being the suspected gunman, in the aftermath of assassination attempt targeting ex-President, Donald Trump, during campaign rally.

Butler county district attorney Richard Goldinger spoke to press telling them that others were injured with one in critical condition, adding that it remains unclear whether the suspected shooter shot himself or was shot at it during incident.

Law enforcement is not “prepared” to identify the suspected shooter who killed at least one during a Trump rally Saturday, stated FBI special agent, Kevin Rojek.

Agent Rojek communicated this at a police press conference in Butler, Pennsylvania follo
wing the assassination attempt.

“We are close to that identification. And as soon as we are 100% confident in who that individual is, we will share it with the press,” Rojek said. “With that being said, we also do not currently have an identified motive.” Officials have identified all three civilian victims but are withholding names until extended family notification can be completed. All three were adult males.

Whether the shooter acted alone is not confirmed yet, with officials adding, “We are not taking for granted that this was a lone wolf attack.” The investigation might take months to determine how the shooter was able to get in armed with a rifle.

FBI will work on the assassination attempt and PA Police will work on the homicides.

Trump took to his own social media platform, Truth Social, and assured that he is well and in good health, thanking law enforcement and first responders for their rapid reaction.

The ex-president’s upper right ear was injured in the incident.

A statement issued by the W
hite House relayed that President Joe Biden is grateful Trump is safe and doing well and asserted “There’s no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it,” Trump had just begun relaying his speech at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania when gunshots were heard and chaos ensued, the ex-president was then promptly taken off stage by the Secret Service.
