NABLUS: Israeli occupation forces today detained at least 14 Palestinians from multiple West Bank areas, according to sources.

Early this morning, Israeli occupation forces detained seven Palestinians during a raid into the eastern area of Nablus, north of the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian security and local sources.

The sources reported that several Israeli military vehicles stormed the district and opened live fire along with tear gas and stun grenades, sparking confrontations with local Palestinians in the vicinity of the Askar refugee camp.

At least seven Palestinians, including six from the Habroun family, were detained during the Israeli military raid and were subsequently taken to an unknown destination.

The Israeli army detained three other Palestinians while they were working on their farmlands near the eastern entrance of Tayasir village east of Tubas, according to Mutaz Bsharat, an official in charge of the anti-colonies file in Tubas Governorate.

Four others, including a 16-yea
r-old minor and a freed prisoner, were detained following Israeli army raids of their homes in Ein el-Sultan and Aqabat Jaber refugee camps in Jericho, said Eid Barahmeh, director of the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) in Jericho.
