SANA’A – SABA: The University of Yemen in Sana’a held a speech event on Tuesday to celebrate the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday and to honor top students across all levels. Dr. Ghalib al-Qanis, representing the Educational Affairs Sector of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, highlighted the importance of celebrating the birth of the Seal of the Prophets and the Master of the Messengers.

He emphasized the need to remember the Prophet’s life, emulate him, and follow his righteous path. Al-Qanis noted that the Yemeni people’s celebration of the Prophet’s birthday reflects their deep connection to the Prophet, whom Allah sent as a mercy to the worlds.

He stressed the significance of drawing lessons from the Prophet’s noble life and embodying these lessons, particularly the spiritual and jihadist aspects, in daily life.

Dr. Yahya al-Mutawakil, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, viewed the Yemeni celebration as evidence of their loyalty and connection to the Prophet.

He emphasized the
necessity for the nation to return to the Prophet’s teachings and to follow his path amid current challenges. He also highlighted the importance of using this occasion to strengthen solidarity with Gaza, which is facing genocidal attacks by the Zionist entity.

He congratulated the honored students for achieving top positions in their respective fields and encouraged them to continue their academic pursuits to prepare for the job market.

Cultural activist Osama al-Muhatwari emphasized the importance of using this great occasion to adopt the Prophet’s virtues and principles.

He noted the victories Yemen has achieved in confronting tyrannical and globalist forces in the Red Sea, supporting the Palestinian people, due to their loyalty to Allah and His Messenger.
