Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky informed on Friday British Prime Minister Keir Starmer about the latest developments in Ukraine.

Zelensky and Starmer discussed the need of ensuring the arrival of required military equipment to the front lines of the battles in Ukraine before winter to enhance Ukrainian potential in the face of Russia’s army, UK cabinet said in a statement.

The two sides dealt with the situation in the Black Sea and agreed on carrying on boosting military potential of Ukraine’s army, it added.

They said that the fourth European political summit held in London Thursday and the NATO meeting held in Washington last week agreed on supporting Ukraine, it noted.

Zelensky called on Thursday on the European leaders to show collective unity to confront attacks launched by Russia against his country.

Established in 2022 upon a proposal of French President Emmanuel Macron, the summit contains some EU and non-EU countries, with the aim of enhancing coordination and consultations regarding chal
lenges facing the European Continent.
