LONDON– The United Kingdom today called for a swift and thorough investigation into the killing of a 12-year-old Palestinian child by Israeli military gunfire.
The UK called on the Israeli occupation authorities to launch a swift and thorough investigation into the killing of Mahmoud Samoudi, a resident of Jenin, who succumbed to his critical injuries today after being shot by the occupation forces by a live round in the belly 12 days ago.
“Following the death of Mahmoud Mohammad Samoudi from wounds he received during an Israeli incursion into Jenin camp last month, the UK calls on the Israeli authorities to conduct a swift and thorough investigation and for restraint in the use of live ammunition,” the UK Consulate General in Jerusalem said in a statement.
