The Joint Operations Command in Iraq announced on Friday the death of two terrorists, one of them a dangerous leader, in ISIS in Diyala province.

The command said in a statement to the Security Media Cell carried by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “According to accurate intelligence information, through tactical measures and technical monitoring, in following up the detachments of the defeated terrorist ISIS gangs, and in a heroic qualitative operation, a joint force of heroes of the Military Intelligence Directorate and the first regiment of the Diyala Operations Command commando brigade was able to surround two terrorists and clash with them in one of the orchards of the village of Eid in Diyala.”

“They were killed with one of them wearing an explosive belt with a detonator in his hand, and the belt was dismantled by the treatment teams,” the statement said.

The statement added: “Through the information, one of the dead is the criminal terrorist nicknamed (Abu Al-Harith) the so-called official Khan Bani Saa
d within the Diyala section.” “The security units are continuing to combat terrorism and strike its hideouts, and will work as planned at all times and circumstances,” he said.
