A container ship carrying quantities of various goods and another carrying tons of iron docked on Tuesday at the quays of Hodeida port to meet the needs of basic commodities and building materials.

The Director of Maritime Operations at Hodeida Port, Captain Mohamed Al-Sais, explained that the container ship “Marsa Zenith” carries 514 containers of various goods, which docked at the quay of Container Terminal No. “6”.

He pointed out that the ship “BROTHER 1”, carrying 22,803 tons of iron, docked on cargo berths No. (2-3).

Al-Sayes stated that the Red Sea Ports Corporation is working with all its crews and cadres to continue the operational process of the port of Hodeida, and to overcome the entry of ships loaded with goods and goods to provide the needs of the Yemeni people.

For his part, the Deputy Director of the Container Terminal, Dr. Ahmed Al-Murtada, confirmed that the port of Hodeida is working normally around the clock in receiving all ships and enhancing work and coordination on keeping pace with
all commercial supply chain.

He noted the efforts made by the leaderships of the Ministry of Transport and the Red Sea Ports Corporation and the sectors operating in the port of Hodeidah to avoid the systematic targeting of the port by the Israeli aggression with the aim of obstructing its economic services.
