Baghdad, The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency announced today, Tuesday, the arrest of two accused of trading in antiquities in Kirkuk Governorate.

The agency stated in a statement, “The Directorate for Combating Organized Crime in Kirkuk, affiliated with the Intelligence Agency, arrested two of those accused of trading and smuggling antiquities, and seized in their possession antiquities dating back to ancient times inside a car.”

It explained, “The car was seized along with the antiquities in a duly report, and the accused were detained to complete the necessary procedures against them to receive their just punishment.”
