The Turkish Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli attack on the tents of displaced people in Al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, which claimed the lives of more than 70 martyrs and about 300 wounded.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry confirmed in a statement today that ‘Israel’s attack on the Palestinians who took refuge in Al-Mawasi area, which it classified as a safe zone in the city of Khan Yunis, and the massacre that claimed the lives of dozens of civilians, is nothing but a stage of the attempts of the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to eliminate the entire Palestinian people.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry said in its statement that “Israel chose bloodshed again, while it was expected to respond to Hamas’s positive response regarding the ceasefire, which is evidence that the Netanyahu government is trying to prevent permanent ceasefire negotiations.”

The Turkish Foreign Ministry called on countries that support Israel to “stop this barbarism immediately.”

The Pa
lestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced earlier today that the number of martyrs of the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation army in Al-Mawasi area had risen to 71 Palestinians, in addition to the injury of 289 others.
