Former US President Donald Trump received enough delegate votes in the Republican Party Convention on Monday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to officially be the Republicans’ nominee for the US Presidential Elections 2024.

Trump is set to deliver a speech next Thursday to address his official nomination to run against current sitting President Joe Biden.

Earlier, Trump Named Ohio Senator J.D Vance as his Vice President pick for the upcoming elections after “careful consideration” of other possible options. He decided that Vance is the right man for the job.

The Republican Convention, under the name “Make America Great Again” started earlier Monday with a moment of silence as the attendees offer thoughts and prayers for the Victims of the assassination attempt on Trump at his rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

The Convention is set to be four days, with tight security measures in place, it is expected to be attended by nearly 50 thousand people and is expected to feature speeches delivered by republican veterans
on sensitive domestic issues like abortion and immigration.
