SANA’A – SABA: The Ministry of Interior’s Traffic Police on Thursday outlined the routes and parking arrangements for the central celebration of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, to be held at al-Sabeen Square, the following routes have been designated for attendees from various directions:
1. Southern Entrance (Taiz Road)
From the southern provinces, travel to the intersection of Hospital 48, turn left onto 24th Street, continue to Artal Hill, then onto al-Khamsin Street. Proceed to October 14 Street, turn right, and head towards the parking lot adjacent to the Third Presidential Protection Brigade.
2. Southeastern Entrance (Jahana Road)
– From the southern and eastern districts, travel to al-Huthili Roundabout, head west via Al-Khamsin Street, passing Dar Salam Bridge and Beit Bous Bridge Tunnel. Exit at Shahran Roundabout, turn right onto Al-Quds Hospital Street, and park next to the Third Presidential Protection Brigade.
3. Western Entrance (Al Hudaydah Road)
– From western districts or Hodeida trave
l to Sabah Point, go south on al-Khamsin Street, pass Al-Ashaash area, and continue until its intersection with Haddah Street. Turn east to October 14 Street, then left on Lebanese Hospital Street, and proceed to Al-Sabeen Square.
4. Northern Entrance (Amran Road)
– From northern districts or Amran, travel to Amran Roundabout, turn right onto Northern Al-Sitteen Street, continue through Madbah Bridge, then along Western Al-Sitteen Street. Proceed to Asr Roundabout Tunnel, continue on Southern Al-Sitteen Street, and park southwest of Al-Sabeen Square. If the parking is full, use Al-Sabeen Tunnel to the Presidency.
5. Northwestern Entrance (Shibam Road)
– From Hamdan District and Mahweet, travel to Shamlan Roundabout, continue towards Thirtieth Street Roundabout, and turn left onto Western Sixtieth Street. Continue past Madbah Bridge, enter through Asr Roundabout Tunnel, and park at Al-Sabeen Square.
6. Central and Eastern Bani al-Harith (Airport – Arhab – Jawf)
– From central and eastern Bani al-Harith,
travel to al-Jamna Roundabout, head west via Northern Al-Sitteen Street, enter through Amran Roundabout Tunnel, and continue via Southern al-Sitteen Street. Park southwest of al-Sabeen Square.
7. Northeastern Entrance (Sana’a – Marib Road)
– From Bani Hashish and Nihm, travel to Aya Roundabout, head east on Al-Nasr Street to Al-Nasr Roundabout, continue on Sa’awan Street to Sheraton Bridge. Turn left onto the Eastern Ring Road, pass Berlin Street, and continue to Al-Omari Bridge Roundabout. Turn left onto Khawlan Street, then head west on 45th Street to the eastern parking lot of Al-Shaab Mosque.
8.Northern Directorates
– From northern directorates, travel to Tahrir Square or al-Zubairi Street, proceed to Al-Sadaka Bridge, and reach designated parking at the Police College, Police Officers Club, and Armed Forces Officers Club.
Attendees are advised to follow these designated routes and parking instructions to ensure smooth traffic flow and timely arrival at the celebration.
