The security services arrested three drug dealers and seized 18 kilograms of narcotic substances in their possession in Safwan district, west of Basra.
A security source said: ‘A detachment of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Department, with the support of the security forces in the Safwan district, arrested three drug dealers and seized 53 bags of narcotic substances in their possession, equivalent to about 18 kg.’
The source added: ‘Legal measures have been taken against them and the materials seized in their possession have been seized.
