The US Supports The Program To Rebuild Homes Demolished By Peshmerga Near Kirkuk

The administration of Al-Multaqa district announced the construction of 100 residential homes in one of the Arab villages that were demolished by the Peshmerga in 2015.

District Director Hassan Abdel Nassif said, with the aim of rebuilding the homes that were demolished by the Peshmerga, and with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the partnership with the Iraqi government, and the funding of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), work will continue to complete the construction of 100 residential homes with a school in the village of (New Mansouriya), which the Peshmerga destroyed it in 2015, along with 100 other homes in the village of Al-Murra.

Kirkuk witnessed the demolition of 138 villages and districts in 2015.
