Baghdad Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals for Planning Affairs, Yusuf Muhammad Jassem, discussed with the Director General of the Jordanian Elbahouse Company the mechanisms and frameworks of joint cooperation in the field of preparing and producing buses of different sizes through partnership and investment contracts.
A statement by the Ministry of Industry stated, today, Tuesday, that the Undersecretary for Planning Affairs met in the Ministry the Director General of the Jordanian Elbahouse Company, in continuation of the meetings and discussions that took place between the two parties in Baghdad and Amman.
The statement added, that the meeting, which was attended by the Director General of the Investments Department, the Assistant Director General of the Technical Department at the Ministry’s headquarters, the Director General of Al-Faris General Company and a representative of Wissam Al-Rafidain Company from the private sector, discussed the mechanisms and frameworks of joint cooperation in the field of preparing and producing buses of different sizes and according to the international specifications of Elbahouse Company in cooperation with Al-Faris General Company and Wissam Al-Rafidain Company through partnership and investment contracts in accordance with the applicable frameworks and laws.”
The Undersecretary stressed the necessity of providing all possible facilities and overcoming all obstacles in accordance with the provisions of the Iraqi instructions and laws, with the need to seek to market the product and meet the needs of state institutions for buses through Al-Fares General Company exclusively.
