Jenin – Together – The President of the Arab American University, Dr. Baraa Asfour, and his accompanying delegation visited the Governor of Jenin, Professor Kamal Abu Al-Rub, with the aim of enhancing ways of cooperation between the two sides. The accompanying delegation included the Vice President of the University, Ramallah Campus, Professor Dr. Muhammad Asia, and the Dean of Student Affairs. Dr. Fadi Jumaa.
Governor Abu Al-Rub extended congratulations to Dr. Baraa Asfour on assuming the presidency of the university, praising the academic level that the university has achieved at the national level, and it has become a scientific and cultural lever that has a clear imprint in building generations. He pointed out that the university constitutes a strong pillar for the renaissance of Jenin Governorate in all fields, appreciating the role of the president. The university’s founding board of directors, Dr. Youssef Asfour, for his continuous work and constant support for the development of the university.

dded that the Arab American University is unique in communicating between the Palestinian people from all cities inside and outside the 48 territories and inside the country, in addition to being unique in advanced scientific specializations, stressing that all efforts will be made to support the university’s progress due to its scientific and developmental importance in Jenin Governorate.
For his part, the President of the University, Dr. Baraa Asfour, confirmed that the university is part of this country and we are proud to belong to it in order to advance it through partnership with all institutions, especially the Jenin Governorate. He thanked the Governor of Jenin for his efforts and the security services to provide security and stability in the university’s surroundings. He explained that the university was able, through the efforts of its successive administrations and academic and administrative teams, to make the university a source of pride for Arab universities and the best representative of Palestine in international forums, due to the excellence it provided in developing modern, rare and qualitative programs at the levels of diploma, bachelor’s and postgraduate studies, which exceeded all expectations, indicating that the university It was able to adopt the latest global educational technology methods, and became a reference in education methods that are in line with technological development and strengthening the rules for digital transformation in the country.
