The Media Department of Al-Abbass Shrine provided live broadcasting service to more than 100 Arab and foreign satellite channels in covering the Arbaeen pilgrimage ceremony.

The head of the Live Broadcast System Unit in the department, Engineer Zaid Salim, said: “Al-Kafeel Center for Artistic Production and Live Broadcasting affiliated with the department works to transmit the events of the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) to the whole world.”

He added, “We worked to cover the procession of visitors heading towards the shrines of Imam Hussein and his brother al-Abbas (peace be upon them), starting from Ras al-Bisha area south of Basra Governorate, passing through the rest of the governorates, arriving at the holy city of Karbala via a mobile team.”

Salim continued, “The department provided live broadcasting service (feed clean) for free to more than 100 Arab and foreign satellite channels, in addition to providing high-quality inserts and photographs for websites, media institutions,
newspapers and magazines to benefit from without a logo.”
