The Border Ports Authority announced statistics on the number of foreigners arriving in Iraq to commemorate the Arbaeen pilgrimage for the period from the sixth to the twenty-fifth of August through 10 ports.

The official spokesman for the Ports Authority, Alaa Al-Din Al-Qaisi, explained in a statement: ‘The number of arrivals through Zurbatiyah port is 1,460,650 and departures are 1,295,460, and through Shalamcheh port, arrivals are 826,021 and departures are 707,205, and Al-Mundhiriyah, arrivals are 438,573 and departures are 361,705, and through Safwan port, arrivals are 56,821 and departures are 21,805, and arrivals through Al-Sheeb port are 289,133 and departures are 184,586, and Al-Qaim port, the arrivals are 6,757 and departures are 2,475, and Baghdad International Airport port, the arrivals are 83,739 and departures are 36,109, Najaf Airport, the arrivals are 204,081 and departures are 138,771, and Haj Omran port, the arrivals are 44032 and departures, are 27856, Bashmagh port

Arrivals are 35820 and
departures are 31176″.

He added that the total number of arrivals reached 3445627, while the total number of departures reached: 2807148″.
