The Arab Federation for International Exhibitions and Conferences has ratified Iraq’s membership in its Board of Directors.
The Iraqi General Company for Exhibitions and Commercial Services said in a statement that it became a member of the Federation after voting on this in the last regular session held by the Board of Directors of the Arab Federation for International Exhibitions and Conferences in the Emirate of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.
It added that the meeting discussed a group of topics on the session’s agenda, which included ratifying the membership of some sisterly Arab countries, noting that the session witnessed the election of Dr. Mustafa Al-Ani, Vice Chairman of the Federation’s Board of Directors.
The Iraqi General Company for Exhibitions and Commercial Services stressed that this step contributes to reactivating Iraq’s membership in the Fedration, and openness to the Arab and international environment in organizing international exhibitions and conferences.
