Baqubah A military force has launched a security operation around the villages east of Baqubah, the center of Diyala Governorate.
A military source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: “A force from the First Division has launched an operation from two axes, around the villages east of Baqubah.”
He added: “The operation aims to strengthen the approaches to the roads used by visitors and to conduct a combing operation according to specific objectives to prevent any security breaches.”
