Al-Mustaqbal University in the capital Sana’a on Tuesday hosted a speech event to celebrate the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, marking 14 Rabi’ al-Awwal.

Key speakers included Foud al-Hada’a from the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, who emphasized the deep-rooted Yemeni tradition of honoring the Prophet and its reflection of enduring values and principles.

Dr. Qais Al-Tal, a cultural activist, urged the audience to renew their commitment to the Prophet’s teachings and highlighted Yemen’s recent global significance, including its defense initiatives.

University rector Ahmed al-Nuwaihi stressed the importance of joy and faith during this celebration, encouraging attendees to embody the Prophet’s values of tolerance, justice, and compassion.

The event underscored the significance of upholding the Prophet’s legacy and fostering a more compassionate world.
