Speaker of the Shura Council Mohammed al-Aidaroos has condemned the recent Israeli airstrikes on civilian facilities in Hodeida province, which resulted in approximately 90 casualties.

In a letter addressed to Al-Naam Mayara Athar, Chairman of the Council of Advisors of the Kingdom of Morocco and President of the Association of Senates, Shura Councils, and Similar Councils, al-Aidaroos described the attacks as acts of terrorism and violations of international law and Yemeni sovereignty.

The letter highlighted the targeting of diesel tanks and Hodeida city power station as blatant violations aimed at destabilizing regional security.

Al-Aidaroos attributed these actions to Israel’s failure to achieve its objectives in Gaza and its attempt to regain deterrence lost due to the Palestinian resistance.

Al-Aidaroos reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and commitment to ending the siege on Gaza.

He called on the Association of Senates and Shura Councils to denounce the Israeli aggressi
on and advocate for Yemen in international forums.

Additionally, he urged ASEAN countries and the United Nations to act against the genocide of the Palestinian people and uphold international law without bias.
