RAMALLAH, The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during July recorded an increase by 0.13% compared with June, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
CPI increased by 0.77% in Gaza Strip, with a slight increase of 0.03% in Jerusalem, while it slightly decreased by 0.06% in the West Bank.
The CPI during July 2021 increased by 2.28% compared with July 2020 (by 2.71% in Jerusalem, by 2.24% in Gaza Strip, and by 2.21% in the West Bank.
The changes in Palestinian CPI for July 2021 were traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure subgroups compared with the previous month:
