Shura Council condemns assassination of Deputy Head of Political Bureau of Hamas by Zionist entity

The Shura Council condemned on Wednesday in the strongest terms, the crime of the Zionist entity’s assassination of the Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Saleh Al-Arouri, and two Al-Qassam leaders in the southern suburb of Beirut.

In a statement issued by it, the Council considered the assassination a crime and a blatant violation of all international laws and a malicious attempt by the Zionist entity to ignite a regional war and expand the circle of conflict in the region.

He pointed out that the Zionist entity committed this crime of great foolishness that reflected its criminal behavior, state of defeat and military failure in Gaza, and a miserable attempt to achieve imaginary victories after receiving painful blows from the heroes of the valiant Palestinian resistance.

The Council’s statement called on the free people of the world and human rights organizations to demand that the International Criminal Court include this brutal crime as new evidence of condemnation in the file of the crime
s of the Zionist entity and the genocidal massacres it commits daily against the Palestinian people, as a result of which more than 75,000 people were martyred and wounded, most of them women and children.

He called on the Association of Senates, Shura Councils and similar councils in Africa and the Arab world to exert pressure in international forums to condemn this crime and previous crimes against the Palestinian people and to demand that the leaders of the Zionist entity be tried as war criminals.

The Council expressed its sincere condolences and great sympathy to the family of the martyr Al-Arouri, the leadership of the Hamas movement, the Palestinian resistance factions, and the Palestinian people over this affliction.
