The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Administration and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation(SCMCHA) , Ibrahim Al-Hamli, met on Wednesday with representatives, officials and employees of international, and local organizations in Sa’ada and Al-Jawf provinces.

The meeting, which was attended by Sa’ada province Undersecretary for Humanitarian Affairs – Director of the Supreme Council Branch in the Province, Muhammad Baydan, focused on discussing topics related to humanitarian work in accordance with the laws and establishment decisions, through the Supreme Council, which is the highest administrative authority responsible for managing and coordinating humanitarian affairs and international cooperation in Yemen, which It works with the United Nations and all organizations in all stages of humanitarian work.

Al-Hamli stressed the importance of organizations improving their work and responsibilities towards the Yemeni people, noting that the Council seeks to localize
humanitarian work.

He pointed out that all organizations are subject to periodic evaluation by the Supreme Council in terms of their positive or negative performance, indicating that any organization will be excluded if its performance is negative, and it does not provide any service to the Yemeni citizen except by paying its operational expenses.

SCMCHA stressed the importance of feeling responsibility towards the country, by all employees of organizations, especially local ones, not yielding to material temptations , sacrificing the security and safety of the country.

He pointed out the keenness of the leadership and the Council to stabilize humanitarian work, taking into account the aspect related to the security, stability, values, culture and identity of the Yemeni people.

Al-Hamli pointed out that the Council rejects any destructive activities that affect the identity , culture of the Yemeni people, the security and country sovereignty .
