The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation (SCMCHA), Ibrahim Al-Hamli, met on Wednesday representatives, officials and employees , international and local organizations in Hodeida, Hajjah and Al Mahwit provinces.

The meeting focused on discussing topics related to humanitarian work in accordance with laws and establishment decisions, through the Supreme Council, which is the highest administrative authority responsible for managing and coordinating humanitarian affairs , international cooperation in Yemen, which works with the United Nations and all organizations in all stages of humanitarian work.

Al-Hamli pointed out that all organizations are under periodic evaluation by the Supreme Council for all their performance, whether positive or negative, indicating that any organization will be excluded if its performance is negative, and it does not provide any service to the Yemeni citizen except by paying its operation
al expenses.

He warned organizations against carrying out political and sabotage actions, through projects or employees, in implementation of an external agenda under the umbrella of humanitarian work.

SCMCHA stressed the importance of awareness and a sense of responsibility towards the country, on the part of all employees of organizations, especially local ones, and not yielding to material temptations and sacrificing the security and safety of the country.

He pointed out the keenness of the leadership and the Council to stabilize humanitarian work, taking into account the aspect related to the security, stability, values, culture and identity of the Yemeni people.

He also pointed out that the Council rejects any destructive activities that affect the identity and culture of the Yemeni people, the security and the country sovereignty .

uss issues related to humanitarian work in accordance with Yemeni laws through the Supreme Council.
