The International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) appointed on Friday, the Saudi Najla Al-Olayan, the vice president of Saudi Arabian Billiard and Snooker Federation as a member and representative of the Asian continent to the IBSF Women’s Committee.
The appointment of Al-Olayan came after a meeting of the Board of Directors of IBSF.
She was selected and endorsed by the IBSF members due to her expertise and achievements in improving the billiards sport in the Kingdom.
The appointment of Al-Olayan to the IBSF marked the first time entry of a Saudi woman into the international sports federations.
