The health sector in Sana’a Governorate is participating in the free medical camp at Maran Rural Hospital – Haydan District, Sa’ada Governorate, which will last for a month.

The Deputy Director of the Public Health and Population Office in Sana’a Governorate – Head of the Medical Team, Dr. Mujahid Al-Rumaim explained in a statement to Saba that the team is equipped with all the needs of medicines, supplies and medical solutions.

The management of the medical team, consisting of 18 medical staff, comes based on the directives of the Minister of Health, the Governor of Sanaa and the Director of the Health Office, as a contribution from Sanaa Governorate to the initiative announced by the ministry, al-Ramim said.

The team will provide consulting, diagnostic and therapeutic services in the areas of “internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, psychological support, and ear, nose and throat”, he said.

He pointed out that the team will start providing services to citizens as of tomorrow, Saturday, in accordance
with the plan approved by the ministry, and in coordination with the Public Health Office in Saada Governorate, Haydan District, and the management of Maran Hospital.

Complex cases will be transferred to specialized health levels in co-ordination with the Sa’ada Health Office and the ministry, he said.
