Rif Yemen Satellite channel on Thursday is launched by Minister of Local Administration in the caretaker government Ali al-Qaisi and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation and Vice Chairman of the Supreme Agricultural and Fisheries Committee Dr. Radwan al-Rubai.

Dr. Al-Rubai highlighted the significance of the new channel, describing it as a milestone achievement reflecting Yemen’s rich agricultural diversity and potential. He noted that the Supreme Agricultural and Fisheries Committee has been working since 2020 to secure satellite channel space dedicated to the agricultural sector. This effort aligns with the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council.

Dr. Al-Rubai urged stakeholders in the agricultural sector to collaborate with the channel and its producers to provide necessary information.

The launch ceremony, which featured television shows and introductory segments on the channel’s daily and weekly agricultural programs, was attended by key figures including
Executive Director of Bunyan Development Foundation Eng. Mohammed al-Madani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the channel, Mohammed al-Emad, and Deputy Director of Marketing and Agricultural Trade at the Ministry of Agriculture Ali Harb.

Afif al-Balili, in his address on behalf of the Yemen Countryside Channel/ Rif Yemen emphasized the channel’s role in achieving comprehensive agricultural development.
