Chief Commissioner, Zeyad Al Saaeda, revealed the formation of a committee to study renewable energy applications submitted to electricity distribution companies to take the appropriate decision regarding them.

Minister Mubaidin, for his part, said that warnings continue to be issued by His Majesty King Abdullah II about the repercussions of continued Israeli attacks and aggression in the West Bank on the security and stability of the region.

Mubaidin underscored Jordan’s ongoing relief efforts and assistance for the Gaza Strip, stating that the Jordan Armed Forces carried out two airdrops in regions not accessible by ground aid.

He pointed to the visit of HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II to the Aqaba International Industrial Estate and his emphasis on the need to overcome obstacles that may face investors and support them in Aqaba.

He also pointed to the opening of the International Forum on Youth, Peace and Security, which witnessed the launch of the Arab Strategy for Youth, Peace and Securit
y 2023-2028.

On the governmental level, Mubaidin explained that the garment factory inaugurated by the Prime Minister in al-Jadeeda area of Karak Governorate on Monday which is expected to create over 1,000 direct jobs, enhancing local economic development.
