Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index surged at the beginning of Thursday’s trading session by 0.05 percent, adding 4.68 points and thus rising to 10141 points compared to the closing of yesterday’s session with the support of most sectors.
QSE’s figures showed an increase in the performance of some sectors, as the Banking and Financial Services rose by 0.20 percent, the Transportation by 0.17 percent, Real Estate by 0.15 percent, and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.06 percent. However, Insurance sector decreased by 0.14 percent, and Telecoms by 0.27 percent, while the Industrials remained stable.
By 10:00 am, 15.852 million shares were traded in 1,843 transactions valued QR 34.284 million.
