Doha: The Qatari team will meet Omani team on Friday, in first match in the GCC Under-15 Basketball Championship held at Qatar University Hall, with the participation of (6) teams.
The tournament competitions, which will continue until Aug. 19, started Thursday, and the Bahraini team achieved victory over the Omani team 106 – 37.
The Qatari team completed preparations for the tournament competitions and announced the list of players who will compete, namely: Mohanna Khaled, Ibrahim Al-Mufti, Jassim Al-Qahtani, Hamad Al-Langawi, Abdulaziz Al-Qahtani, Majed Al-Mansour, Mohammed Al-Badi, Ahmed Yassin, Mohammed Al-Qahtani, Mishaal Al-Mughni, Sultan Abdullah, Mohammed Al-Khuzaei, Azzam Yakan, and Saud Al-Mughaiseeb.
The organizing committee announced the tournament matches program, where the participating teams were divided into two groups, the first of which includes Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the Emirates, while the second group includes the teams of Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman.
