The General Organization for Water and Sanitation announced a 30 percent reduction in the domestic water consumption value on the Prophet’s Birthday occasion.

Fawaz Qiran, head of the General Organization for Water and Sanitation, told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the decision, which includes the current month of Rabi’I, targets the organization’s branches in Metnah, Manakhah, Al-Jawf and Raymah.

He pointed out that the decision comes on the Prophet’s Birthday occasion and out of the Corporation responsibility and its branches to take into account the difficult conditions the country is going through in light of the repercussions of the aggression and blockade.

For his part, the Corporation’s branch Director in Metnah, Engineer Fuad Al-Madani, confirmed that the Corporation approved a 30 percent reduction on the Prophet’s Birthday celebration occasion and the leaders’ directives implementation of the Electricity Ministry , Energy and Water, Sana’a Province and the General Corporation for Water and S
anitation.
