Protesters in Basra rejected passing a pipeline from Basra to Aqaba, describing it as “a setback to the national interest.”
They demanded in a protest stand “in front of the office of the Council of Representatives in the province, members of parliament to reject this measure and not implement it as it harms the country’s economic interests.
