The Ministry of Transport and Public Works inaugurated projects in Hodeidah today to rehabilitate and maintain roads affected by floods in the governorates of the Hodeidah axis, worth six billion riyals.

The initiatives are aimed at the governorates of Hodeidah, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, and Raymah, with funding jointly provided by the Road Maintenance Fund, covering 80%, and the Hodeidah Governorate along with adjacent areas on the western coast, contributing the remaining 20%.

These initiatives are part of implementing the directives from the President of the Supreme Political Council, the government’s agenda for change and construction, and the Supreme Committee’s actions to address emergencies and flood damages. They aim to promptly maintain and restore roads affected by the floods in the governorates of Hodeidah, Hajjah, Mahwit, and Raymah.
