RAMALLAH: Presidential spokesperson, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, said that the ongoing genocide waged against the Palestinian people and the daily massacres committed against them with American support have put the region at risk.
Abu Rudeineh added that the bloody massacre perpetrated today by the occupation against displaced civilians in the Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis, which led to the killing and injury of hundreds of civilians, in addition to the ongoing incursions into cities, camps and villages in the West Bank and the destruction of infrastructure, is the responsibility of the US administration before the occupation.
‘Without this unprecedented political, military and financial US support the leaders of the occupation would not have dared to commit such crimes and violate all resolutions of international legitimacy and international law by killing children, women and the elderly without accountability.
‘It is time for Israel and the American administration to realize that the entire region is on the bri
nk of a comprehensive explosion due to their policies that contravene international will and international legitimacy,’ he said.
He stressed that the US administration must withdraw its blind support for Israel before it is too late.
The presidential spokesperson stressed that these bloody crimes will not bring security and stability to anyone, but would rather increase the resilience and steadfastness of the Palestinian people on their land and their struggle to gain freedom and independence.
He stressed that the international community must not allow these massacres and absurdities that have led the region to an endless war to continue, which would increase instability due to the occupation’s policy that aggravated the situation in the entire region.
