Prime Minister of the caretaker government Dr. Abdul Aziz Saleh bin Habtoor on Tuesday met with Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Obaid bin Dhubai to discuss the Ministry’s accomplishments in supporting the disabled community.
Bin Habtoor and Dhuai highlighted ongoing efforts, including a census initiative in Maheet province conducted in collaboration with the Central Bureau of Statistics to update data on disabilities.
The Minister underscored the increased challenges faced by the disabled due to regional conflicts.
Dr. Bin Habtoor praised these efforts and emphasized the national obligation to integrate and support the disabled, ensuring their dignity and role in society.
