RAMALLAH: Hussein al-Sheikh, the Secretary General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), today discussed with the head of the US Office of Palestinian Affairs Hans Wexler, the latest developments regarding the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
They both also discussed the escalating measures and unprecedented violations and crimes committed by the Israeli forces and colonists throughout the West Bank.
Al-Sheikh also briefed during the meeting held in the city of Ramallah, about the latest intensive regional and international efforts in coordination with Arab countries and the entire international community to halt the aggression and the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip.
In turn, Wexler affirmed the United States’ support for the political track that guarantees calm and stability in the region and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state according to the two-state solution.
