The Parliamentary Finance Committee announced that, starting today, the committee’s meetings will begin to discuss the draft federal general budget law 2024.
Committee member, Representative Jamal Kujar, said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the draft budget has reached the Finance Committee and, starting today, Wednesday, we will begin intensive meetings to discuss it, until it is completed.
Koger explained that: The Finance Committee will complete the discussion of the draft budget in a period that will be less than 10 days.
He pointed out that the political differences over the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives will not affect the approval of the budget.’
