Palestinian Injured during Confrontations with Israeli Forces Near Nablus

A Palestinian was injured by Israeli occupation forces during confrontations that erupted in a town southwest of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that a young man was shot in the thigh with live ammunition during confrontations in the town of Tell last night and was subsequently transferred to the hospital.

The occupation forces also arrested three Palestinians, including a journalist in Hebron Governorate.

Local sources said that occupation forces detained a man and his son and seized their vehicle after stopping them at a military checkpoint near the village of Umm Al-Khair in Masafer Yatta. They also arrested a journalist in Al-Arroub refugee camp.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Marda, north of Salfit.

According to local sources, the occupation forces stopped and searched several citizens’ vehicles, threatening them with physical violence under the pretext of allegedly throwing stones at colonists’ vehicles.

Cities, towns, and ref
ugee camps in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem face daily raids and incursions by occupation forces and settlers, often resulting in violent confrontations and arrests. Live and rubber bullets, along with tear gas, are routinely used. These violations have sharply escalated since the start of the brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, 2023.
