Palestinian Central Council suspends recognition of Israel, halts security coordination in all its forms

The Palestinian Central Council, the second-highest decision-making body in the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), suspended tonight during its 31st session in Ramallah the recognition of the State of Israel until Israel recognizes the State of Palestine on the 4 June 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, and halts all settlement activity, and affirmed the cessation of security coordination in all its forms.
