TULKARM: Israeli occupation forces destroyed a home today in the Al-Madares neighborhood of Tulkarm refugee camp, located north of the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Sources within the camp reported to WAFA that the Israeli forces blew up a house belonging to the al-Doush family, after planting explosives inside it. The explosion caused a large plume of smoke and damaged nearby homes. Some residents experienced difficulty breathing due to the smoke.

Teams of the Palestinian Red Crescent managed to enter the camp and evacuate individuals suffering from smoke inhalation and other medical conditions in the aftermath of the explosion, transporting them to the hospital.

Additionally, Israeli forces deployed more vehicles to the camp, surrounding it from all entrances, particularly along Nablus Street. According to our correspondent, the forces concentrated their attacks in the northeastern part of the camp, specifically in the Al-Madares and Al-Okasha neighborhoods. They raided and searched sev
eral homes, interrogated residents, and physically assaulted some young men.

Israeli military bulldozers have also resumed demolishing and destroying what they had previously destroyed in the past three days of incursions into the camp and the neighboring city of Tulkarm.

Earlier today, Israeli forces re-stormed Tulkarm city and its refugee camp just hours after withdrawing. They entered from the western entrance, patrolling the city streets and forcing shop owners to close their businesses.

The forces pursued civilian vehicles in the city’s streets, firing tear gas and live ammunition at residents.

Meantime, a tight cordon was imposed by the occupation authorities around the Shuhada Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in the city, with ambulances and their crews subjected to inspection and interrogation.
