New Israeli airstrike on Lebanon kills 4, injure 10

Four people were martyred and 10 others were wounded in an airstrike carried out by Israeli warplanes on the town of Kifoun in Alia district.

A Lebanese security source told Petra”s correspondent in Beirut that “warplanes raided the southern town of Mays al-Jabal and its surroundings more than 40 times from this afternoon until evening.”

Airstrikes were also recorded on the towns of Sawana, Yarin, Kawthariya al-Siyad, Ghassaniya and Qabrikha, while heavy artillery shelling is currently recorded on the towns of Blida, Mays al-Jabal and the city of Bint Jbeil.

The Lebanese Minister of Culture, Mohammad Wissam al-Murtada, sent a letter to the UNESCO in which he presented the danger of the Israeli attacks on Lebanon and the attacks carried out by Israeli warplanes near the Baalbek Castle, which is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as a civilizational heritage for all humanity, demanding to take the necessary measures and submit complaints to the competent authorities.
