The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, discussed with the new Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Anil Bora Inan, the internal situation in Iraq and the latest developments in the region.
The Presidency of the Region stated in a statement: “During the meeting today, Barzani wished the new Ambassador success, expressing the Kurdistan Region’s support for him in making his mission a success.”
For his part, the Turkish Ambassador expressed his happiness with his appointment to this position, stressing Turkey’s readiness to develop relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in all fields.
The two sides discussed during the meeting the internal situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, and the latest developments in the region.
