The Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate and Head of the General Union of Arab Journalists, Moayad Al-Lami, received MP Sarwa Abdel Wahed, head of the New Generation Bloc, accompanied by MPs Ribwar Orahman and Omid Muhammad.
The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate said in a statement: ‘During the meeting, the necessity of adhering to professional standards and freedom of opinion and expression during media coverage was emphasized.’
MP Sarwa Abdel Wahed praised the work of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate and its active role at the local and regional levels, and affirmed the New Generation Movement’s support for the Syndicate to fulfill its professional mission.
The Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Moayad Al-Lami, provided an explanation about the nature of the union’s work, its media institutions, and its branches in the governorates.
