Microsoft has announced updates to the Skype application to develop it and return it to compete with video communication applications.
The company noted that it launched an update to the Skype application dedicated to Windows 11 systems, which removed some programming errors that affected the application’s operation, and carried new features for users.
The new test version of the application is available to beneficiaries of the “Skype Insider” program, and is characterized by its ease and smoother use, and provides faster performance, and it will not display ads, in addition to other new features, such as sharing images created using the artificial intelligence assistant “Copilot”.
The developers also fixed some programming errors related to audio alerts and running the application when connected to 5G networks.
