The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning expected thunderstorms in parts of several provinces, hot to very hot weather in the deserts and coastal plains during the next 24 hours.

According to the weather forecast issued by the centre, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), thunderstorms are likely to fall in parts of Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Al Dhale’, Lahj and Socotra provinces.

It stated that scattered rain, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is expected to fall in parts of Sa’ada, Amran, Sana’a, Marib, Al-Bayda, Shabwa, and Abyan provinces Heights, on the eastern , southern coasts, and in the interior areas adjacent to them.

The center warned citizens against the flow of torrents in the reefs and valleys, against being in their streams, against thunderstorms and the decrease in horizontal visibility on mountain roads due to rainfall , fog formation, and against crossing land bridges during the flow of torrents.

It also warned citizens in desert a
reas and coastal plains against hot to very hot weather, and advised against direct exposure to sunlight during the afternoon.
